Description

'Giselle' is a Jaguar 25, built in 1986 of GRP construction. She has twin bilge keels (ideal for East Coast sailing), and a Volvo diesel 9HP engine with 10-gallon fuel tank. She has a masthead bermudan rig with a fully battened mainsail (Crusader 2000), furling genoa (2000). The mast, rig and furling gear were all replaced in 1994, and the saildrive seal replaced in 2007.

The rudder is transom-hung, and the cockpit is self-draining. The internal layout has 5 berths in 2 cabins with approximately 5' 10" standing headroom.

Equipment includes: Plastimo bulkhead compass, Clipper Duet echo sounder, Seafarer speed and distance log, Husan 55 VHF radio, Navico tiller pilot, steaming light, tri-colour masthead light and anchor light. She also has a horseshoe lifebuoy, fire extinguisher and manual bilge pump.

The galley has a Plastimo 2-burner gimballed gas cooker & grill, stainless steel sink, coolbox, fresh water tank (26 gallons). There is a separate heads compartment with marine toilet and pull-out washbasin, and a hanging locker opposite. The upholstery, curtains and carpet are blue.
