1974 Carter 33
The Carter 33 3/4 Tonner was a classic design of the 1970's. Designed by Dick Carter, one of the most prolific designers of the last century. This boat gave a good account of herself in her early racing career, winning the production trophy in her class and she also did well in the 1977 Fastnet race. Certainly in club racing today she wouldn't disgrace herself. She was built by Northshore, who had a good reputation for building solid yachts. She makes a good cruising boat with good accommodation for a crew up to 6. There is a forward cabin with a double berth and the heads are to port. There... read more

2001 Seahawk 17
We sold this boat to the current owner only last year. He has enjoyed his new boating hobby so much, he has bought a bigger boat so he can travel further and with all his new found friends who want to come with him. There is nothing wrong with the little boat, in fact the opposite. What a peach. Her advert from that time can still be found via Google. The comments then were about how she is one owner from new, garaged all her life and with probably less than 100 hours on her. All of that is still true, except this seller is of course the second owner now. She has a new 2020 chartplotter/fishfi... read more

1995 D H Grainger Gaff Cutter
If ever the cliche' "a Proper Little Ship" meant anything then this must be it! She is a unique slice of yachting tradition harking back to a bygone era. She was designed and built by a local Engineering Company owner who's life has been tied up in this vessel for the last 41 years. She was 16 years in the build and he then spent 25 years sailing her, without an engine or any electronic nav aids. When I asked him about navigation aids his reply was to the effect that all a proper sailor needs is a compass, Walker log and lead line! His sextant and chronometer isn't for sale! She is Carvel s... read more

1985 Moody 34
This is a boat we know quite well, she has been based here in Neyland for a number of years and we have sold her to the current owner. In that time she has been lightly used, well maintained and sailed locally for pleasure in the nicer weather. She is clean, dry and as far as we are concerned, fully operational and ready for the water. The engine starts and runs well, the sails are in good condition and generally she is a pleasant and well found boat. The Moody 34 rightly enjoys a reputation for superb and sea kindly sailing qualities. We sold her sister ship last year, that one sailed from he... read more

1999 Fletcher 19GTS
I used to have a Fletcher 19 as my private boat, she was a fantastic boat which I regretted selling. I have handled the sale on many of them since. For its year, this is the best I have ever seen. I love the Tek-Dek in the cockpit, the covers are great, she is spotlessly clean, well equipped and best of all, she has been on fresh water all her life. The engine bay is a joy to look in as well. Considered by many (including me) to be the finest sportscruiser in its size range, this is the most popular model Fletcher's ever made in terms of numbers sold. It is a perfect all-rounder if you consid... read more

1985 Dehler 25
Eagle eyed will spot that we have previously listed this boat, we did in fact sell her about two years ago. She was bought by our neighbour here in Neyland, Ratseys Sailmakers. Needless to say, the buyer (a very highly regarded rigger and sailmaker) went through her carefully and got her sorted, in particular the rig. He is also a very competent sailor, as one might imagine. He will confirm the boat sails like dream, points well, very stable (due to the water ballast), pick ups lovely off the wind, impressive hull speed. predictable handling and very forgiving with all the characteristics of a... read more

1982 Colvic Watson 35
The Colvic Watson 35 is a robustly built motor sailor, designed by G L Watson who also designed lifeboats. She can handle the most adverse weather conditions yet can manoeuvre into tight marina berths with her powerful bow thruster. This boat has cruised extensively and has had a lot of money spent on her over the last few years. She has had a refit in the galley, heads and wheelhouse. She has had a lot of new equipment fitted including new stacker packs, toilet, calorifier, carpets and battery management system. The hull has been repainted and antifouled plus new anodes have been fitted. Th... read more

1989 Fairline Turbo 36
The Turbo 36 was a hugely popular model in the Fairline range and is reputed to be the designers favourite model he ever penned. Known for their roominess and sea-kindly handling, there were over 220 made in a twelve year production run starting in 1981. This particular one has been owned by a keen and competent boater for the last 13 years, although the last couple of years she has been ashore due to ill health. There is some refit work she would benefit from to freshen her up. I would suggest new carpets, new fridge, new cooker, new flybridge cover and a deep clean. In the process of being ... read more

2017 Warrior 165
This low hours, dry sailed and near pristine example of the popular Warrior 165 has one owner from new and still has the remainder of engine warranty. She was constructed in 2017 but put on the water in 2018. She has many optional extras extras, for example:- Aux bracket and zero hours engine, bait board, rear bench seat, twin tanks, VHF, plotter/sounder, Blue hull, 4 post nav light bar, boarding ladder and full cushion set. She has only been on the water when in use (only 105 hours!) having been stored ashore on her trailer and launched/retrieved from it. The trailer is a braked roller type a... read more

1963 Motor Cruiser 40ft
One of the last ever made Gentlemans wooden motor cruiser. Just after this one was completed, motor yachts went over to that new fangled idea of fibreglass. She is beautiful example which has had caring owners all her life which is evidenced by how well found she is today. In recent times she has been repainted, re-caulked and a professional ship-wright has attended to any small jobs that have been needed. She is a proper boat from a bygone age, although a capable coastal boat, she would also be very at home on a lake or river. In particular I can envisage her pottering along the Thames with a... read more
