Micro Plus 18 motor boat
'Money Pit', despite her rather unusual name, is a very sturdy MicroPlus 18 motor boat, built originally, we believe, for the Environment Agency. Microplus boats were known as the 'Getaway' Boats! After being sold into private ownership in 2003 the cabin was enclosed. This boat is ideal for river, Broads and coastal cruising with family or friends, or taking out for a fishing trip. The engine is a Yamaha 50 HP 4-stroke outboard motor, last serviced in 2019. The boat is equipped with the following equipment: Anchor, chain and rope working fish finder Boa... read more

'Zest', Tumlare no 25
Zest was designed by Knud Reimers, and built in Sweden in 1935. She was the first of 6 Tumlare yachts to come to the UK, following a visit by Roger de Quincey, a friend of Uffa Fox, to Knud Reimers in Sweden. The Tumlare class was then established at the Aldeburgh Yacht Club in Suffolk. Zest is probably the most famous Tumlare in the UK, having been written about in glowing terms by both Uffa Fox and Adlard Coles. Over the last few years Zest has been meticulously restored and maintained by the Aldeburgh Boatyard, and has had a very successful racing career, regularly winning at the Suff... read more

Loch Long One Design racing day-boat
'Soonah' is a wooden, racing dayboat of the Loch Long One Design class, and is sail no. 47. She was built in 1959 by Alexander Robertson & Co. of Sandbank, on the southern shore of the Holy Loch. Robertson built boats to a very high standard, and 'Soonah' is no exception, with a beautiful varnished mahogany hull. The current owner bought her in Scotland in 1990 and brought her down to Aldeburgh, where she is now. He had been trained at the International Boatbuilding Training College (IBTC) in Lowestoft, and has done a considerable amount of work on her. She has a laid... read more

Loch Long One Design racing day-boat
'Mosquito', Loch Long One Design racing day-boat no. 135, was commissioned by the current owner to be built at the International Boat Building College in Lowestoft. Built in 1991 she was the first new Loch Long One Design boat to be built since building in Scotland stopped in 1966. She was built to a very high standard, with a varnished hull, laid deck, and curved cockpit coaming. She is currently in dry store in a barn, and two years ago had work done on her to repair any cracked splines, rub down and renew her varnish and antifoul, and get her ready for a one-week regatta at the A... read more
